Central Island Distributors is looking for a Full-time Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team at our busy Nanaimo head office. The ideal candidate will be friendly, organized, accurate and have strong communication skills.

  • General office duties
  • Generating invoices
  • Answering phones & directing calls
  • Answering customer/vendor inquiries
  • Providing support to various departments as required

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Excellent internal/external customer service skills
  • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Thrives in a dynamic and changing environment
  • Experience with general office duties such as photocopying, filing, answering phones & emails, etc.
    Experience in transportation or similar trades an asset
  • Reliable transportation is required
